We are proud to announce the arrival of an extraordinarily beautiful and compelling Super Tuscan red blend that will journey from Italy in early 2026 to become a distinguished addition to our exclusive Legacy & Worth Wines of Distinction Italian Collection.

During a recent winery visit and tasting at our partner estate, L’Arco, located in the heart of Vinci—the medieval Tuscan village renowned as the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci—we discovered a wine that immediately captured our attention. From the first tasting, Noir 1025 revealed itself as a study in warmth, elegance, and quiet confidence.

Noir’s inviting character is shaped by its thoughtful blend: 40% Merlot, 40% Syrah, and 20% Sangiovese. The grapes are selectively hand-harvested, then gently destemmed and crushed before being transferred by natural gravity into stainless steel vats. Fermentation lasts ten days, followed by an extended 22-day maceration on the skins at a carefully controlled temperature of 26°C.

The wine is then racked into new Allier oak tonneaux, where malolactic fermentation is completed toward the end of November. At this stage, the three varietals are blended and left to mature in tonneaux for 14 months, allowing depth and harmony to develop. Afterward, the wine rests in stainless steel for one month before undergoing an exceptionally light filtration and bottling. Noir then ages quietly in the cellar for an additional six months, refining its character before release.

In the glass, Noir 1025 presents an intensely vibrant ruby-red color, with layered fruit aromas that remain beautifully balanced, never overshadowed by oak. With aeration, the wine gradually unveils delicate notes of mint, pepper, and liquorice, adding intrigue and dimension. The finely integrated tannins—shaped by both fruit and wood—lend the wine a sense of polish and poise, resulting in a profile that is complex, stylish, and unmistakably sophisticated.

We could not be more delighted to have discovered this remarkable wine, and we eagerly anticipate its debut with Legacy & Worth Wines of Distinction in early 2026. Here’s to the many memorable pours of Noir 1025, soon to become part of our shared wine story. Cheers. 🍷
